Circuit Court of Appeals today agreed to hold a hearing at the request of the Alabama attorney general's office on the stay of execution granted by athree-judge panel for multiple-murderer Daniel Lee Siebert.But the court did not lift the stay that blocks Siebert's lethal injection that had been set for 6 p.m. today.He claimed his cancer medication would counteract with a lethal injection and inflict unnecessary pain.
